Woman Development Cell

The Women Development Cell, since its inception has been organizing activities that have been leading to empowerment of the so called weaker section of the society. The cell has been organizing activities and programs that help the female population to cope better with the stresses arising in the society.
In the academic year 2015-16 the team of the Marathi movie ‘Ekach Fight’ visited the college on 03/08/15. The director of the movie Mr. Kiran Samant and his team emphasized the importance of the role of Self- Defense in Women Empowerment. They demonstrated a few self-defense skills and trained the girls for those skills.
The program was highly appreciated by the staff as well as the students.
