The Department of Accountancy is contributing to the development of the college since it’s inception in the year 1997. It is actively engaged in organizing the various activities for learners, teachers as well as for society. Teachers & Learners from the Accountancy department are active members.
The department also organizes “Accountancy Knowledge Test” every year in the beginning of the year along with that it also organises different activities like paper presentations, industrial visit, workshops, quiz competition in accountancy & various lectures of eminent speakers to inculcate various skills and practices among the learners. It has also organised lectures on “Investment Planning” and workshop on “How to file a Salary Return” for the residents of Dombivli. The department has organized Five UGC sponsored National Conferences up till now. We also plan many more activities in the near future.
Besides this the department is publishing half yearly Departmental Journal called “Accountancy & Taxations News” in which articles of students and teachers are published. And the Conference Proceeding are also published in the form of ISBN/ISSN book.
Goals & Objectives:
- To make the learner acquaint the expertise in the field Accountancy & Finance.
- To develop practical skills in Accountancy & Finance amongst the learners.
- Cultivate educational and career development.
- To make the learner acquainted with current business world.
- To motivate the learners for further studies and research activities.
